History and Mission
Our History
Good Shepherd Catholic School (GSCS) was established July 1, 2011 through the consolidation of Christ the King School, Coplay and Our Lady of Hungary Regional School, Northampton. GSCS is the only Catholic school in Northampton, PA. It provides a fantastic parochial school education to the towns of Northampton, Whitehall, Catasauqua, Coplay, Walnutport and Bath. GSCS is proudly supported by six local parishes: Queenship of Mary and Assumption BVM in Northampton; St. John Fisher in Catasauqua; Holy Trinity in Whitehall; St. Peter in Coplay; and St. John the Baptist in Whitehall. We are proud to have our students with us from Preschool all the way through 8th grade!
